Children are welcome to attend from the age of 2 years and 6 months, up to 4 years old, when they will leave to attend school.

As part of our learning strategy, children between 2 years, 6 months and 3 years old are offered places in our afternoon sessions only, this gives us more scope to manage age differentiate activities.

Once your child is 3 years old, they may graduate to the mornings sessions, following a completed change of session request form (subject to availability)

Morning sessions are targeted to benefit the older children in their transitional journey towards their first year in reception at school.

From the first full term your child is 3 years old, all children are entitled to government funded sessions, 570 hours a year, split over 3 funding blocks (Known as - Universal Childcare)

Some parents may also be eligible to claim up to an additional 570 hours a year (split over 3 funding blocks) of funded early years education and childcare (known as Extended or 30 hours Childcare).

You will need to signup online to obtain a code from the government to access the Extended/30 Hours Funding. It is the parents responsibility to reconfirm their eligibility every term with the government. Failure to reconfirm could mean your funding is ceased and you will be invoiced for your sessions.

Some children aged 2+ are eligible for funding for early years education - Any family with a child attending a childcare setting in Northamptonshire can use the Online Eligibility Checker to find out if they are eligible for 2 year old funding

We also accept childcare vouchers and childcare tax credits.
